The County Commission is the governing body of Marion County. The commission is made up of three officials, elected to a 6 year rotating term. Each Commissioner must reside in a different magisterial district( Palatine, Middletown, or West Augusta).

The County Commission meets every Wednesday at 10:00 am except for the quarterly evening meetings which are held at 7:00 pm in the commission chambers on the 4th floor of the J. Harper Meredith Building.  Evening meeting schedule is as follows:

All county commission meetings are open for the public to attend.
