- Promote Justice
- A speedy trial for the defendant.
- Protect the victim as much as possible from
further victimization
- Provide access for the public to file criminal
complaints and obtain information.
- Investigation and prosecution of the violations
of State Criminal Statutes in Marion County,
WV.
- Represent the State of West Virginia before the
Marion County Circuit Court, Grand Jury, and
Magistrate Court.
- Represent petitioners in all juvenile delinquency
proceedings and abuse/neglect proceedings.
- The Prosecutor’s Office acts as a legal
advisor for various State and Local
Governmental entities.
