The Marion County Unsafe Building
Enforcement Agency is an agency that is appointed by the
Marion County Commission to enforce Marion County Unsafe
Building Ordinance 98-1. The Agency meets on the
fourth Thursday of each month, excluding holidays, at
7:00 P.M., in the J. Harper Meredith Building. All
meetings are open to the public. Unsafe
Buildings Investigated and Abated – The
Enforcement Agency acts on signed complaints presented at
regularly scheduled meetings. The complaint is
investigated and the appropriate enforcement procedure is
